Chickenpox?

My toddler has come out in a few red spots today on his tummy, back, arm, neck and head. around 12 altogether. They look suspiciously like chickenpox but because he hasnt got hardly any more as the day has gone on I'm doubting whether it is or not. People are telling me to take him to the doctor but is there any point?

It's definitely chickenpox! Had it confirmed.

get the cream if you can, cream stays on better. Oh and get piriton or childrens antihistamine as that can help stop the itching.

another tip is bicarb in bath.
just keep an eye on the spots, if any start to look infected then go to GP as they are the ones that can really scar.
