Well we are 'full to the brim' & not had a good rehoming weekend! Just rehomed one adult & one kitten today. Taken in a stray 'Tortie' MALE cat(very, very rare!) You normally only see female ones. Shame hes going for his 'bits' off next week!! Got 3 'cat loos' going so far & they seem to be doing ok & hoping eventually to have them in all 14 pens(if finances allow us). Give us more time with the cats & less time cleaning!

3 cat loos? - is that the self flushing ones?

Why can't people just have their cats neutered? And there are idiots who think that it is only fair to allow their little girl have just one litter before neutering her.

I hope you have a better rehoming weekend next week.
I had 2 Tortie males , Lenny in 1975/6 and Fred in about 1971. Fred was just dumped near our farm , probably from the council estate over the fields, Lenny I can't remember where he was from actually.

I've never heard of a cat loo how do they work?

Yes wolf, self fushing! They are called 'Cat Genies' & are quite remarkable. Yes i do wish people would get their cats/kittens neutered it would help the cat population! We neuter at 6 weeks! Some say it's cruel but it's what has to be done for the best.

Hi dotty, go on to the 'cat genie' website.
I've just looked at the website. Wow - I had no idea such things existed. May have to investigate further.
I might have a look at the cat loos. I hope, money permitting, to re-do my bathroom in next couple of years. A cat loo would be a selling point - of sorts.

I thought of training my two to use the loo - Frankie in my avatar might manage okay but his sister is not very intelligent and would end up drowning herself.

All I need is a paw washing machine - Frankie spends ages cleaning his paws after being in the litter tray. My towels are his usual targets.
