That's awful. Does anybody else feel the same?

Thanks for the link Elvis, interesting. I just plucked his name of the top of my head as I was writing. Perhaps not him then. I'm disappointed in him; after seeing the stuff he's made for TV on animals I thought he would have been ideal. I'd like to hear his views on Saturday's GN. Please don't anybody put a link up showing Bill Oddie killing baby blue tits or Chris Packham badger baiting cos I don't think I can stand it.
The owners are probably insured against the loss. I went to my first ever race 18 months ago. It was a flat race and there were still deaths. There is too much money in racing for it ever to be banned. Even without the money, racing will still continue. In the Middle East they love their racing but no money changes hands (officially) because that is against muslim principles. Racing flourishes there regardless.
