It's the same in NI as well as Eng and Scot??

I'm off shopping as supermarket hours are exactly the same as for any normal Friday,
When I was a child it was a special day. All shops were closed, we would have to dress in our Sunday best & taken for a walk in the park. No running or going on swings and roundabouts. We always hadboiled Cod and parsley sauce for lunch.

How things have changed today. - jem
It just reminds me of a pagan festival hijacked by Christians harping on about their imaginary friend in the sky.

Sorry Sandy, nothing personal but I cant respect anything to do with the worship of a genocidal, sexist, homophobic god.
I have every respect for an individuals choices and faiths but to me right now it means a 12.5hr shift at triple time....same on Sunday and Monday.

Good morning sandyRoe - this is off your subject posting - sorry!!! - but just wanted to let you know that I visited Gentle Dental Care and got a wee bit of consultation with Adam - I now have an appointment with Lucy on 18th May as she is on holiday - please God I will get peace with my teeth and headaches.
