I can fully understand the idealistic anger of the young over this matter, given our disastrous recent interventions in Iraq and Afghanistan. However, as I have pointed out in an earlier post these are political decisions taken by our leaders, from both sides of the spectrum, which were are powerless to change, short of armed revolution. Now there's a thought...

Ah well the Pope has said stop fighting , just sit down and talk. So that all right then . Does anyone listen to these theists ? They all tell us to sit down and talk but never do they tell us what to do when talks fail.
Oh sorry the Pope did say if talks fail there is a plan B . You've got it ' You sit down and talk '. Do the theists live in the real world ? All over Easter they have been giving the same message . You would think by now after thousands of years they would know sermons and prayers don't work apart from giving a little short term comfort to the devoutees. Which I suppose is something in their favour.
