BBC or ITV?

I've got my hat ready my Bucks-fizz is chilling,
I will be watching the BBC version, I find they are the best when it comes to a state occasion.
Anyone prefer ITV, and why?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.not at all, beejaybee, the live footage shows the same thing (though not necessarily from the same angle) but a substantial amount of the broadcast is background chat, analysis, crowd interviews and so on; and even the live footage can be handled differently, as when ITV repeated the first kiss while waiting for the flypast. I notice the Guardian's live blog concluded that ITV came off best, and that Philip Schofield was engaging while Huw Edwards was pompous. This was also my feeling, though I didn't watch all the coverage.
