Keloid Scars!!??
I have numerous keloid scars around my shoulders, back and a couple on my chest (all approx 1-2inches long)- not very pleasant to look at and are quite sore when aggrevated.
I have had a course of injections and also tried the 'gel' sheets but all to no avail.
Has anybody experienced these type of scars and is there anything in the 21st century to remove these??!!

Goole this subject and you will find lots of different suggestions and even "real" medical books have various methods to reduce the effect, all you can do is try out some of the suggestions and see if one of them helps you.
On the minus side the injections were incredibly painful - so much so that the doctor doing them told me 'these are unfortunately pretty painful' as opposed to the usual 'this might sting a bit'!!!
I sympathise with your condition as I have exactly the same problem and in the same places to. They first started in my late teens and nearly 20 years later they are still there and are raised, red and angry. I still get new ones every now and then and while my skin is very sensitive and I do scar easily with insect bites etc, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to them.
I remember at the time being referred to a dermatologist but there was nothing they could do - they did take loads of photos though for their journals !.
Anyway, I'm not trying to put a downer on things and i'm sure they have progressed medically since then, so try going to your GP and see what they can do.
