How can I get my pointer back to normal

Since downloading FF4 I have had an odd problem with the pointer on my netbook (samgungN154) when every so often with I am moving the pointer around the screen,it changes to a box with arrows on the top and bottom which sometimes freezes the screen or makes the screen scroll.Any idea what I can do to get it back to normal?I know there are pointer settings somewhere but as usual I cannot remember where they are,or is this something to do with FF4?
Any ideas?

You are probably brushing or tapping two fingers at a time on the touchpad to activate it.

Thanks Chuck,I was thinking the same thing but them OH complained of the same problem,and it's only just started since messing with the FF4 settings!What have I gone and done now???
