I`d stay away from the end of May until about October. In February there is a wind called the Shamal that blows down the beaches and covers you with sand. People go there when it`s really hot in the summer and say it`s OK because it`s dry heat but it`s not true. It gets humid.

Depend on what you will do there, if its just shoping it will make no diffrence as you will be in the airconditoning just best to avoid ram a dam
