Did you see the fly pass from the 4 aircraft of the Irish Air Force - it probably was all their Air Force and they used their annual budget up in putting on this show of immense force.
And the security has cost them the same as the Royal Wedding - £20 mln - how can Ireland afford this? - at least London had quite an injection in the arm financially with 5000+ Americans plus all the rest visiting the City for the wedding.
But then, seriously, it is important to put markers down about the seriousness of the relationship between our two countries. The Irish are our 5th largest trading partner.
Poor old Queenie, gets through this and she gets the Obam-bams coming in to stay at the ranch. Bit like waiting for the referred to No 29 bus, none for nigh on for a year or so and along come two.
