Is anyone else Starting to feel sorry for that French Bloke in the US slammer? I mean bad boy obviously but he's seriously paying for whatever he did to that chamber maid! I know what your thinking! That Geezer what a softy!

Innocent or guilty - one thing that is not in doubt , and that is, that there are some tough and nasty mother f*****s in that prison - Not the sort of place you would choose to spend even one second .

American prisons are not like British prisons .
You dont get any interaction between prisoners and the prison authorities - the guards are just that - guards - who are there for one purpose , and one purpose only , and that is to stop you getting out .

The prison to all intents and purposes are run by the inmates

I strongly beleive though , that in rape cases , the accused should also be granted annonimity , as well as the accuser , untill after any trial

He's being held in solitary I'm sure. There are plenty of poor people that are sitting waiting for trial locked up in the county clink so I don't feel bad for him not making bail. We don't house un-convicted criminals in prison. Solitary is better than the general conditions of living in big city jails as a general rule.
