Where is summer?

It rained every day here in May, and threw in a few gales and hailstones.
Today - cloudy, windy, threatening rain.
I was listening to the news yeaterday morning and the newsreader said that clouds would spread in here later in the morning - I looked out the window and, guess what, it was raining. Then I got caught in a hail shower.
I get so envious when I hear of dry weather and heat waves: I have to have the heat on.

I think we had it in April. Apparently It's supposed to be getting better as the week goes on. Sunny with highs of 23C thurs, fri and sat, here in the Bournemouth area allegedly.

that's what I'm hoping for ratty (I'm Dorchester area) but last night went to bed with hot water bottle and woolly socks on and was still cold!

I got a sun tan in April. Both my sons have a sun tan from playing out. One of them looks like he's just back from holidays abroad.

I'm in N. Ireland, by the sea. I've been going to bed with a hwb as well. When people come to visit, they always coo about the view - I'd swap it any day for a bit of sunshine.
