Does it make sense to say this sentence in German???

Does This Make Sense, and if not how can I make it make sense...

I suspect that you need to complete the sentence...ie I would have gone swimming if it wasn't very cold.... It doesn't stand very well without the proviso..

The full sentence was like:
I would have gone swimming, although there was jellyfish and....
I just didn't want to post it all because I didn't see the point.

That's about the worst way possible to see if a sentence make sense in a foreign language. all any online translation does is a straight word for word translation, they do not take into account that most languages use a totally different sentence structure to English, often for different situations.

I don't think there is an one word equivalent for 'gegangen' in English.

Ich würde schwimmen gegangen haben

Instead say... i am not going swimming because.... Ich bin nicht schwimmen gahen aber....(or something like that lol)
