BGT Result
35 Answers
if the mystery blogger who claimed BGT is fixed intended to ruin Ronan Parke's chances of winning, he or she succeeded. That anonymous letter must have put sufficient doubts in sufficient minds to lose Ronan votes. A great pity because Ronan was in a totally different league to any of the other contestants, and he's only 12 years old. It'll be a tragedy if these doubters also spoil Ronan's incredibly bright future, because by rights he should become an international superstar. The winner, Jai, on the other hand had a whiff of Steve Brookstein about him...and we all know what happened to him. Your thoughts please

the impressionist who id been looking forward to wasnt particularly good, his take of simon cowel and greg wallace(?) were a bit naff,
ol jean wasnt as good, adding her vocals to her manic keyboard playing,
the matrix fella didnt look as effective in white, and his act wasnt nearly as impressive as before,
young ronan was good, and im sure he'll do well still, even if he did come 2nd,
i also liked the other lad too, the one singing 'fast car'
and yeah, well done to the jai fella, im pleased he won.

So much for AB's box 'Enter You Tube Link Here'
Perhaps this will work as a clickable link:-

looobylooo.......I think your summing-up of the show was about right.
Now to my little problem.( which is not so in your case.)......If I click the play button on the You Tube entry in AB it results in my being presented with a message that reads "Embedding disabled by request. Watch on You Tube."
All very strange. Hence the reason for my further posting with a 'clickable link'.
It would be interesting to hear from others on this matter.

Ronan was fantastic however i dont think a child should be putting themselves forward for that kind of pressure, they dont even know themselves at that age, and what his voice breaks? could go either way. and hey i switched off after Edward Reid went out, he had something different to offer, he was my fav
flipnflap if you think that Jai had a whiff of Steve Brookstein about him then you surely don't have an ear for music.I really hope that Jai doesn't go the same way as Steve B because he actually does have a good voice and I hope someone can help him get over his nerves. I wish him all the best for the future.
I doubt Jai will get a recording contract. Sadly it's not all about how he sounds - though his voice is good, not great - and he simply does not look good or young enough to make it in showbusiness. If it wasn't for his rare first name, within a couple of months very few people will remember him. Ronan Parke, on the other hand, will go stratospheric...mark my words!
I think the right person won. Jai has a fantastic voice and will do well. Ronan didn't seem too bothered about losing and was very gracious in his praise of Jai. I think he will do well in the future (at least until his voice breaks).
I really wanted Les to win after the semi-final, but his performance last night was rubbish, his Simon and Greg Wallace impressions weren't good. If he didn't have time to perfect his voices, then he shouldn't have done them.
