I am contemplating having my Andrex custom-printed with the image of:

moony - the school boy years (1963 - 2011).

What do you think?

My favourite character was Fotherington-Thomas who was soft and believed that there were fairies at the bottom of his garden. Poor lad!

Apparently, moony prefers Giles to Searle (see other Tattoo thread )

Big Sis had 2 books by Searle back in the late 50's but they got lost somewhere along the way. I was delighted to buy one of them in a very large second hand book stall not far from me :o)

Fabulous ttfn! I love Searle's work. The St. Trinians' films were apparently based on his drawings.

The 2007 release of the re-make of the film includes his sketches, which is brilliant.

I'm afraid I didn't see the remake. I can't imagine anyone as the headmistress other than Alaister Sim, even though I do like Rupert Everett in other films. Unconditional Love being one of my favourites.
