don't make sense, does it?
What's wrong with that ?!

(From "FreeDictionary.com):
Adv. staggeringly - extremely
Adj. peaceful - Undisturbed by strife, turmoil, or disagreement; tranquil.

It seems ok to me, I have been to lots of places that I would consider "staggeringly peaceful". Parts of Scotland, Nepal, massive caves in America etc.

Hmmm I suppose when you say it like that it's OK; I would sooner use a more suitable adverb than staggeringly for something which is peaceful though - wonderfully, very, extremely etc etc. I think of staggering as reeling around and definitely not something peaceful. It may be correct, but I thought it quite odd.
Yes ... here in my garden :0)
Well, when I was up at about 11pm in the foothills of Dhaulaghiri staring up at the most star filled sky I'd ever seen it made me stagger !
Was that after a wee drammy though?
That was the drink!
^ Was what I thought ;0/
It was staggeringly peaceful when I left the pub last night. Somehow, I managed to open the front door, get up the stairs, undressed and into bed without waking my partner...
...actually, now you come to mention it - the local plum wine was pretty good.
Looked in the back of any spoons lately? LOL!!! I cried laughing at that one!
Actually I did that night, just to remind myself of the full horror.
The best way to appreciate the heavens is lying flat on your back. How you achieve that sublime position is a matter of personal choice hic!

Two conditions,
The right frame of mind
The right kind of weed.
I've done that and I found myself holding on to the grass Staggeringly odd I thought, because I was sober :-/

DT Crosswordfan lol - so you peacefully staggered!
Actually I was still capable of driving and its a mile down country lanes - wouldnt risk losing the licence but couldn't resist the line back to you.

Might stagger off to the other pub later as it is quiz night and leave the TV screen being peaceful.
Its not uncommon ayg. People who sleep out in the hills can wake up, look at the starry sky, and feel that they could fall off the earth's surface. Very weird.
