In my kitchen I have limestone tiling and wooden worktops.Where the tops meet the tiles there is a thin line of grout which,in some places,is breaking away. I am wanting to refill the gap and wondered if I might be better using silicone sealant.Someone told me it's better if you have movement in the tops as it will flex and not break. Does anyone have any advice.I have both in the cupboard so just trying to decide. Thanks a lot if you can help.

best bet is a flexible filler - i.e silicone type

Thanks Trim, will make a start then. Cheers. What does 'silicone is the default setting mean? Do you mean all sealants have silicone in them?

Oh I see. Thanks very much. Just getting rid of the loose grout. Something to do on a miserable wet Saturday afternoon.
