Next time I get bitten by a wasp for example I'll be sure to to ask him to cling on so I can get his autograph .
As if insects stay attached to your skin once they've bitten you .If they did we would all be going about with wasps and mossies hanging onto us for grim life .
Ticks might cling but insects don't hang around .They bite and go .

ha ha, some of these comments have really made me giggle.
I have no idea what bit me. As I said, I just remember having a bite but not actually receiving it. Could have been anything and I don't expect to ever find out. I just have a packet of Piriton handy wherever I go now.
They have said they might try and stitch it up in a few weeks time but if they don't they said I'm going to have a pretty ugly scar left. My accountant said he can put me in touch with a lady he knows who tattoos over scars to improve the appearance but as I don't get my legs out very much I'm not too bothered really. I just wait and see how it turns out.
