Tomato stain on blouse

I have just noticed three tomato stains on my blouse
It's brand new and this has happened to me a number of times. When I have washed it still is stained
What shall I do

I had my tea early tonight at 5.30 and have only just noticed it so it's well and truly dried in

I've got blackcurrant our by putting neat washing up liquid on the stain then washing it

The washing up liquid is a good tip - I have often used it to great affect on oil-based stains.

I have tried the washing up liquid in the past with variable degrees of success
I have just tried it now and will machine wash it when it's empty
If that fails I might try bleaching the area

I find Stain Devils are good. Maybe the curry and sauce one?

I`ve tried the oxy stuff. I couldn`t see any difference. I find if Stain Devils don`t shift something, nothing will

Since I have had grandchildren, now seven of them. this problem keeps coming up. Baked beans sauce ect. anyway wash your blouse and put it outside in the sun , lay it so the sun is shinning on onto it. You may have to leave it all day but the sun light usually fads the stain. good luck.!

I always find the vanish powder (in the pink tub) is brilliant, gets blood out of things so sure it would work for tomato stains. Worth a try anyway

Dabbing with cold water soaked kitchen towel immediately after stain is created can sometimes get rid of it.

Wash at 40 with biological detergent and a handful of dispersible aspirin tablets. I recently did so for a white skirt covered in red wine and curry. Not a trace of a stain exists now. Good luck.

if all else fails try SHOUT its marvellous, getting to find though.
Have you thought of taking said blouse to the dry cleaners ? only leave it if they say yes they can do it.
