Printer Problem

For some reason I am unable to remove a print job from the list waiting to be printed. The error message states that the local sprint spooler service is not working and to restart the spooler. I have done this but the message is still the same. PLEASE can someone help me to remove the document waiting to print to see if this will unjam the problem with the spooler. Thanks in advance.
