Young drivers, should they undergo a primarily test that lasts for 6 months? If they have a bump or get caught for speeding within that 6 months their license gets revoked, if a full 1 year has been completed they get their entitlement to drive on condition if they get done for speeding etc, their licence then gets revoked. too many think " I've passed my test & I can drive"

Well I don't know how fast a bike can travel but the one that hit my friend was moving I can tell you and she eventually died from her injuries and the cyclist was never found.

I thnk there is a case for some TWR but the trouble is they all get thrown into the same pot.
But as you say the main problem is i`ve past my test, its then that you learn to drive, the test only shows you can handle the car & certain parts of the code.
Perhaps courtesy for other road users should be one of the disciplines taught

I don't have a problem with that Nanny, little bit of Sarci from me x, regards the Ans regards renewal, If I can add some advise, sod been loyal them days are gone, the Insurance do not give a stuff how long you have been with the I can assure you, the wife was with Churchill for 12yrs, they did not give a sht when I said she was going, loyalty, my @rse but if you do go looking make sure you get similar to what you have just left, going back to the post, & believe me I am not knocking the young by my orig post but I will stand by what I say, if they continue to have prangs that is not their fault make them pay, don't ask the likes of me to substitute the cost, regards the old farts & I'm getting there, if they continue to have bumps hike up their insurance it's simple, if they continue to have bumps either get them to take a retest or hand in their permit! yes permit to drive it is not a right. a license is issued.

I am 24, been driving just over 2 years. Why should I pay a small fortune because of the inconsiderate **** (could put many more rude words here!) who was smug enough to think he could drive down the middle of the road looking at something on his passenger seat and smashed into me head on writing off the Land Rover I was driving!?

Anyyyyway, as has been said, there is a 'probation' period already, for 2 years!

And as for insurance, mine came up for renewal in January, and I managed to save myself £1200 :-) so I'm quite happy about that lol!
