The simple answer is that you CAN'T get rid of them without either shooting or trapping them. You can discourage them from visiting by ensuring that there is no food available; i.e. no bird table, no nut or berry trees, no fruit trees or plants etc, they will then (possibly) go elsewhere.
If you have a problem that you cannot live with then contact your local environmental health department who will give you advice.
If you are able to, you should try to appreciate them and their antics. You could try providing them with food (nuts and potato peelings etc.) in one particular area, which they will soon become to adopt as their own and then they will leave other areas alone.
