What is healthier; Special K or Bran Flakes? Maybe even something better?
I am trying to lose a load of pounds, and have been told that breakfast is very importand to kick start the metabolism in the morning. Problem is a don't have much time in the morning to prepare anything fancy, so I think cereal is my only option. Any advice? thanks.

I have Bran Flakes most mornings...or porridge if it's cold.
One handful of flakes, top with half a banana and a whole kiwi (both sliced, obviously) and a small amount of skimmed milk or fat free yoghurt.
Another good idea is a smoothie. You can even buy packets of frozen 'smoothie berries', which you just thrown in a blender and you're good to go. Mix it up, so it doesn't get boring.

Mungbeanz, I thought of you this morning, whilst I prepared a super-healthy breakfast, in less than 5 minutes.
Grab two handfuls of mushrooms, slice and put in pan with 2 tablespoons of vegetable stock (optional). Add two tablespoons of very low-fat soft cheese and simmer for a few minutes, until most of the liquid has been absorbed. Pile onto a slice of wholemeal toast, top with fresh chives and voila!
Really filling, very low-fat and quick to prepare :)
