sunday lunch

I Am having roast chicken, roast potatos cabbage carrots garden peas and parsnips.
1..... what are you all having?
2...any tips to make parsnips more interesting?

I just sank a piece of toblerone into a cup of tea (it does't float) think that counts as lunch

kerriesmum near us we have a traditional greengrocer with a stall that comes on Thurs, Fri & Sat and his stuff is much fresher then Asda thats how I got the cherries and fresh peas too.
I love a home made gooseberry tart but havent seen any as yet.

i agree with the french parsnips are boring I roast them for my daughter and mash them with sweed (turnip- don't ask he's irish) for the other half.
