The B, G and N refer to the types of wireless signal it can receive in a wireless network (where you have broadband coming into the house and a 'router' attached).
B is the oldest (and weakest) and N is the newest and strongest type of signal.
If you have Wi-Fi already in your house it will be 99.99% fine. If you haven't got it and just plug a cable into your PC or laptop then you won't need to worry about it.
