Pity Jonny Saunders is leaving Chris Evans this week. He has a lovely voice. I watched on the iplayer when Chris did the Show in a Field last year and was surprised to see the he looked nothing like John Inverdale who for some ridiculous reason I thought he did!!!

I shall miss Jonny - he is the ideal sports presenter - he makes sense out of aspects of sports which casual folowers like me need explained.

Voices rarely match up to our perceived image.

I spoke daily to a young lady and enjoyed our conversations. One day when i was on leave, a (female) colleague spoke to her, and she asked what i looked like - did I look like the rugged handsome Bond-eque figure my voice suggested?

My colleague confirmed that I now look like Loyd Grossman / Paul Mackenna!!!

It was never the same after that ... sigh ...

Perhaps this is an indication of what it is like working with Chris Evans? You'd rather take a chance with a classroom full of 15-year-olds potentially armed with knives and fruity language, and a wage so low that it provokes so much strike action.
