Goodnight all

I had a nice one today. Had a coffee at my fav cafe.

In comes a guy with the ring in the ear lobe, tattoos everywhere and his gf/wife with the spiky peroxide hair and a gorgeous late 3 year old. (Plus a family friend).

She was obviously very sparky and bright (and so to were the parents when we got chatting - distracted me from my editing work and filling forms in for my mater who has the Big A). The old saying of "Looks deceive"

The little one is asked what she wants for brekkie - lots of pleases and tys by the way!

"Egg and a chip house"

"They don't do chip houses for breakfast"

The cafe stacks chips like one of those mind puzzles.......They agreed to make one.

"And, Mummy, I would like two sausages as well, not those minature ones you give me, please" (yes she used the word minature).

The manager brought it out some ten minutes later after Dad had been making sugar houses out of the sugar sticks (lots of bad puns between us about living in Sweetwater, the folk who live there are the Shakers, growing sucroses in their garden etc).

She looked at it, then said,

"What a small portion!" (word for word)
Night Bobbi sleep tight

Well hope your weather warning isn't too bad for your. I don't know what's in store here for us weatherwise tomorrow, but as long as it is sunny and warm on Saturday I don't mind. We are going to York Races if the OH is well enough. Hope stokemaverick is around for some tips later this week.

I had to answer just to say, Have a nice day on Saturday Gran xxx
I was going to have mince for dinner but had pork instead, then watched corrie and that just brought it all up again
Well I've had a boring sh*t day. Its actually the anniversary of the day my mother gave birth to me (I don't do the 'b' word and hate anyone mentioning it) and as its rained I've been on the 'puter most of the day. Took the dogs out tonight, got the first lot walked on the airfield and then the heavens opened so the littlies only got a quick run and a soaking. Back on the 'puter and bed early for me I think. Sorry it wasn't more interesting.
Happy birthday lankeela's Mum, wherever you may be.
you^^ Thanks bobbie.
Typographical errors? Makes a change from the bl00dy weather!
Had quite a busy day today. This morning went to see my 10 year old grandson in his school production of 'cinderella rockerfella'. Was absolutely brilliant, the best i have ever seen. This afternoon, went to my 4 year old grandaughters leaving picnic and presentation at her pre-school. She starts school in September.A very pleasant day.....
I took thing 1 and thing 2 for their 3 1/4 year check thing (they've already 'failed' it once) - thing 2 passed (even though he doesn't talk) and thing 1 'failed' again (she wouldn't even put the glasses on to look at the picture - to be fair, she said she wouldn't do it before we even got there). So we now have to wait for an opthoptic (not sure how that differs from an optician) appointment.
My mater was diagonised with mixed dementia, (The Big A and Vascular). No surprise there though....at least it gets her on the brake drugs......(not the psychotic ones).
