ITV/BBC Drama Series on Hawaiin Island
6 Answers
I am trying to remember a short drama series, probably about 6 years ago or maybe even longer. It was based on a native island, the people on the island looked Hawaiin, or ffrom the Philipines. I can't really remember what it was about either.....so I am not much help. Might have been 3 or 4 episodes about and hour long each.

I have finally dug out the video. It was called "The Other Side Of Paradise" and was released back in early 90s. I don't think it has ever been released on DVD. It starred Jason Connery.

There was a one-off drama on ITV in 2005 called "In Deep Water" about a couple whose boat capsized around St. Maarten in the Caribbean. This starred Lucy Punch, who was recently in Vexed.
Other than that, I can't think of, or find, anything else unless you can come up with something about it that might help, such as some story elements or actors.
Was it even a UK-made series, or could it be a foreign import?

I have been thinking more about this program...it might be older than I thought. I remember it could be bought in a twin vhs video set. It came in a box with a vhs video in either side. I really am struggling with the story line. I believe it was based on a small island. The cover showed palm trees, and a man and a woman. The guy falls in love with islander. I am now thinking perhaps it is more like 15 years ago...the word paradise comes to mind but I might be wrong
