OK,So i finally talked to him last nite and it went alright i enjoyed talking to him and would like for him to wanna talk to me more, but how soon should i send him another message i don't wanna do it to soon because,I don't want him to think I'm oppressed,So how soon should i try again?

I just ask because i want us to become real good friends and maybe someday more then that will see I never know what could happen in the future,by the way we've known eachother since we were babies and have liked eachother since we were kids

Leave it a couple of days then text to say "it was good to talk to you on Friday, are you OK today?" - that keeps it low key. I don't know what you mean by oppressed, I think we'd say "too keen". You never know, if you leave it those couple of days, he might text you first.
But if you're friends...text anytime. If it leads to more...lucky you. At the moment though, you're just friends....

LOL, that's better!
if you have known each other that long you should feel comfortable talking and texting whenever, you could ust text and say what are your plans for the weekend...you never know if he aint got any plans maybe you could do something together

He lives 3 hours away but if we ever comes back to L.A we could plan something
You can text friends when you want to. Unless you know your friend particularly dislikes being contacted by text. (Most of my friends know I don't particularly like chatting on the phone so they don't phone).
I think he should contact you next time.
