.. have just paid a visit and fixed my oven!!!!! Heard a sort of pop noise from the cooker and thought I would try the oven (well, you never know) and it is working again (going to leave cleaning it for a while though, just in case it goes again - no point wasting all that effort if the cooker is destined for the tip).

can you give them my address Sherrardk and send them around to me, my top oven is broken again, the thermostat keeps going and we have already replaced it a few times, but we are planning a new kitchen in the near future so pointless spending out on it when I am changing the cooker. The bottom oven takes forever to cook and is also the grill, so can't do the both at the same time.
Oh and I bet my oven's muckier than both of yours put together, as I am certainly not cleaning it if it's going to the tip. :)

I'll pass your details on Jules, but as you know the happy pixies only show up when you're not expecting them. (Seriously, my oven's absolutely filthy as the grill is knackered too so I use the oven to cook stuff like bacon as well).
