He obviously has it all in front of him, its not as though he remembers every single number and when it was last pulled out. Everyone is concentrating on the next number anyway.
Have to say I think it's ridiculous re the lottery draw, all most of us want is the draw to take place in about 10 minutes and over and done with, I don't bother to watch it, just record the results or get them online. Yes I do find Alan D's voice annoying too but worse is the guy who does the X Factor don't know his name, but he really gets to me and he's doing more voice overs in other things too..scream!
I don't 'do' the lottery and I have never seen the draw shows; but: I do love Alan Deddicote's voice.
However, I find that the current trend of drawing out results and prolonging 'stuff' on TV really annoying; consequently I hardly ever watch quiz shows on TV these days.
I do quite enjoy 'Pointless'.
Another related annoyance for me is the way the contestant gives their answer and then the host says 'do you want me to accept ***** as your answer? Of course they do otherwise they wouldn't have given it as their answer!
