Fairly recently I asked about shows in London suitable for children as my son and daughter-in-law were taking my grand-daughter to see one. I thought they'd have gone for the Railway Children but in the end they plumped for the Wizard of Oz at the Palladium. They treated themselves to really good seats fairly near the front; she was totally mesmerised by the whole thing. I think I'D like to go and see the Railway Children!

Pleased they enjoyed it, especially as it couldn't have been cheap, and I'm glad it was a successful day out.

I think it cost them a small fortune, but was a once in a blue moon thing. They enjoyed it immensely - London is such a differnet world to where we live - and so much to see. We have a lot to see but in the way of beautiful scenery.
