Stain removal on clothing
13 Answers
I am a messy bugger and seem to attract dirt whatever i seem to do. I spent a lot of money on some decent T shirts recently and for some reason, they have become stained with various substances.
But whatever we do, the stains just don't come out. We've tried soaking for 24 hrs in vanish and also using the spray stuff with some, but not much success.
We use decent washing powder and change brands regularly and have a decent machine (Bosch clasixx)
the stains can be anything from a bit of food to cooking oil splashes or guinness.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get them out
Thanks in advance

Next option would be a Stain Devil designed for that particular stain. If nothing works and it's a white top or the stain is in a large white part of a top, I put the affected part in a diluted bleach solution. That never fails but you can't do it on coloured tops.
