we went for a meal yesterday......

and it was nice, however, my 9 yr old son had a pudding and it had got broken glass in it!!
the manager couldnt be arsed to pop her head around and apologise so she sent her team leader (who was a nice woman) and she gave us our £2.20 back!! even tho i said i didnt want the money!!
when i got home i got even angrier about it and sent an email to crown carveries and they havent responded!!..... im now gonna ring them up but i need to ask you this question.........
what do i actualy want to acheive by whinging? im not really interested in any money off vouchers nor do i want a free meal?...... im not very experienced in the art of corporate moaning?

Follow it up with a letter then, rugeleyboy, and send it recorded delivery. Letters are much better than phone calls for something like this, you have a record of what was said. However - you need to make it clear whether you are just complaining about the incident, or complaining that "the management" treated you very shabbily, or whether you are looking for...

However - you need to make it clear whether you are just complaining about the incident, or complaining that "the management" treated you very shabbily, or whether you are looking for compensation for ? shock and inconvenience, don't just tell them about the incident, tell them why you are writing. Write here
