Corrupt SD card

While I was downloading pictures from my camera SD card it failed. That is when going to retrieve them via my PC the folder shows up, but it shows up as empty.
I have downloaded a "Rescue" programe (Bad Copy Pro) which works really well and has "Rescued" the whole of the SD card (which included movie clips as wll) BUT I am unable to "Retrieve" them unless I purchase the serial for the programme ($40.00) which is a bit annoying for somthing I will hopefully use once only. Anyone have knowledge of a freebie?

Hi ralph. My sincere thanks. Works a treat. My thanks also to the programme developers. I would advise anyone who uses a digital camera to download this prog. (Its only a tiny file) You never know when you might need it.
