problems with laptop keyboard

used laptop last night , no problems . Just gone to use it now and when i press the keys i get different letters, such as kj when i press j when i press s and kj when i press m an lp when i press l ! any ideas what it could be ? thanks

check that the default language is UK English. There are several ways of doing this and it depends also on the age of your laptop, byt try looking in start > control panel > langages and region

If it does prove to be a faulty keyboard, you could always plug in a keyboard via a USB port – not very elegant, I know.
