Having recently purchased a large buttoned MOB phone on E_Bay for my disabled brother, I've just discovered it only rings twice and then goes to Voice mail. How can I get it to ring 3 or 4 times? Can't find it on Settings.

So you need to tell that computer to change its settings (usually by making a special phone call to it); you won't find any settings on the phone itself.
For example, here's what you have to do with Vodafone:

Oh, I've just seen that you've posted while I've been typing this. You seem to have misinterpreted Bednobs' question. What we need to know is the name of the phone company who the bill is paid to. (Vodafone? Orange? O2?)

You seem to be doing quite well with answering!
Yes, the link is above but (if your display is like mine) it's hard to read where the asterisks are in those instructions. I suggest pressing Ctrl and + together a few times, until it's easier to read. (To get your screen back to normal, press Ctrl and - a few times, or just press Ctrl and 0 once).
