This is a hypothecal question.
If one is in receipt of HB/CT benefit because has State Pension +Pension Credit.Also in receipt of high rate DLA.
If one decides to move a partner in who in also in receipt of a small State Pension,a small Occupational Pension and working Part-Time.,how does one go on regarding HB/CT benefit?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Unless you give amounts no-one can tell you but I think it is unlikely that you will still be eligible for pension credit if your partner moves in also I doubt you would still get HB/CT benefit. In our area a pension age couple is said to need £236 a week income anything over that and your HB/CT will reduce as will your pension credit.
