Stuck Email

I have an email stuck on my mobile phone. I've deleted it from Yahoo but cannot get it off the phone. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Sorry - trying to multi task & failing! It's a Samsung Galaxy SII

I had this with my Galaxy I. Deleted the email from Yahoo on my PC; refreshed Yahoo on Galaxy. Not sure if it worked immediately but I may also have rebooted the Galaxy - this often seems to sort things out. Hope this helps.
