Email Problem
6 Answers
I have tried my Domain email Service provider and Sky email technical dept but neither can provide an answer so I'm hoping ChuckFickens or othe guys with similar knowledge can help. Over recent months the number of spam mails increased to enormous ammounts so my Domain provider deleted the offending address and gave me a new one. I also use a Sky email address (keeps business and private separate) But now every mail sent to Sky address is followed with a postmasters notice stating it was unable to deliver to the old domain address. I have cleared everything from my PC / Laptop and both Sky and Domain service provider say they can't help. So it's down to you guys now....Many thanks....Tel

Well really, it's down to you!
What email client do you use?
If Livemail and Outlook Express ... Tools/Accounts .. look for the OLD account name with the entries in it for the old address and delete it. Sounds like you still have the old email settings active in the Mail Accounts.
And ... Keep your new email address OUT of those Yahoo or Hotmail circular emails some people (the un-informed ones) like to send around .. They harvest addresses and will end up on a spam list)
And .. Keep off of websites .. apart from buying/selling sites.

I wish it was that simple AlBags. I have searched many times to find anything related to the old address but can't find anything. The domain service provider states it is not possible as he made it defunk. My only suspicion about his findings is that the domain 123 site states that address is not available, but nuclearinternet are adament it is. Any other ideas please?...Tel
