I am clutching at straws here, but if you are Lucas or know anyone of that name, he may be the Lucas who has just posted back my daughter's purse intact, which she lost on a bus in Oxford St London last Saturday night. There is no other name or address to say thank you so if you know who he is THANK YOU !! I know its a long shot but worth a try xx

My brother in law is called Lucas, he lives in Nottingham, but is originally from London, and goes down there regularly to see his folks, mainly weekends. Not sure if he was there last week, but I will ask, just in case! He is definately the sort of person who would post a purse, fully intact.

Thanks tatty but I don't think he was on a bus in Oxford Street in the middle of the night on a Saturday after coming out of the pub, somehow. x

Don't write him off completely, judie. He's a bit unsteady, has dropped to his knees, he's having visions and the angel is having to guide his hand - it's very likely that he came out of the pub, hopped on the bus to Selfridge's and had his picture taken in a window display.

He looks a bit shifty to me, I don't think he'd send my purse back to me, think he'd spend the money on lager by the look of him.
