Hi There,

How do you go about copywriting poetry you have written, before sending the poems to publishers?

do you mean copy write or copy right ??
Do what Rolf Harris does. Put a copy in an envelope addressed to yourself. Take it to the post office and get them to put a date stamp across the seal and, when it arrives, don't open it, keep it safe. That way, if someone pub lishes your work, you have proof that you had it first, therefore you wrote it.
