Where have my TV Channels gone?!
7 Answers
The freeview TV upstairs used to get loads of channels (like Dave, Yesterday and Sky 3). On Saturday it refused to get a signal. Anyway, I managed to sort it out last night by retuning it. I've lost no end of stuff.
Is this something to do with the digital switchover? And how do I get the channels back?

Someone seems to be amusing themselves playing with them. Try a rescan from default (the actual menu option varies, you need to look for default or reset or something like that, not simply scan and add channels). If that doesn't work it's either your aerial, or my suspicion is some joker at the transmitter.
I'm with Redman on this. I'm in Sheffield and have retuned three times since switchover started in early August. I always use the 'factory reset' option (which may be called something else on other set top boxes). This means the retune takes place as if the box has just been installed for the first time.
I tried to find all of the above options but no can do! Anyway, I gave up and just hit autotune - we've now increased our supply of channels to around 50. I think OG is right, someone is messing around with the signal somewhere.
Still at least I've got "Yesterday" back. I can live without "Dave" and the incessant repeats of Top Gear.
