Actually I sent Mr Mcbride an email or two, and we settled our differences. Which is good, because actually I dont want to win or lose bitterly, I want to be fair and gracious. I think they do too .. it is after all a competition. But somewhere along the line maybe we got a bit greedy.
I dont know if any rules have been broken or not - and trust that the organisers will decide that fairly. From our perspective we have decided we are firm friends but fierce rivals.

Thanks mamylanne - it is a huge relief actually, it was getting a bit intense and surreal, and when they posted nasty stuff .. then I did the same, I suddenly stopped and thought ... what's this all about?
I think they were thinking the same.
Now we can just concentrate on ourselves - and let the best family win!
