The meerkat ones are just baffling, though. I wonder if their creator really does think that meerkats come from Russia and hence gave them archetypical Russiaan-sounding names and clichéd accents...

Car insurance ads in general are awful.

The worst are GoCompare - they actively put me off the channel I'm watching. I certainly wouldn't visit their Web site.

In contrast I think the meerkats are genius - genuinely likeable characters because they're NOT trying to sell you car insurance ...

I hate perfume ads, and I hate the Paddy Power ads that spoof perfume ads ... don't they realise it's just as bad???

I hate advertisements in general and wish we could see programmes without them. No good watching BBC because there are adverts on there as well. But looking at the examples, they are definitely the worst of the lot.
