I have been a member of AB for more than five years. When I joined in August 2006 I was led to believe that, as a member, I would receive, regularly, an Editorial newsletter. However, I am unable to recall more than two which were e/mailed to me and a third which was by way of a clickable link which the ED had been requested to provide for folk who had not received an e/mail.

My suggestion, which might be ignored by editorial, is...forget about e/mails and publish, each week in the ED's Blog, a comprehensive 'run-down' of the previous week's activities: which could include responses to ABers who may have raised issues which are worthy of a comment from Editorial.

I hold an opinion that Feed-back is important to all ABers.

yes, I don't think I've received emails, much less the cut-glass decanter and Barry Manilow CDs new recruits were offered. Still, regarding feedback, I take the view that no news is good news.
There's a newsletter?

"No news is good news"!

Very true when necessary new news is not nice news.

Surely one needs a light to see in the dark and Editorial could be more enlightening.

Evening Ron,

We're swapping over our mailing system, so there is a little hiatus. We'll be back with regular email updates sooner rather than later.

All the best,

Ed
You frightened me............I thought you'd gone to bed.
Blimey, what you doing up and about at this time of night????
Just checking in.

While you're here, any chance of deleting the featured poll? It's been there for yonks and the figures don't seem to be changing.

G'afternoon Ed.....I hope you didn't stay up late to respond to me.:-) It has been a surprise to find that you posted, personally, after 1.0am.. I thought that you had 'Spares' to to keep tabs on night and weekend shifts. Incidentally, where nowadays are the 'Spares'?

Anyway, I feel sure that a lot of ABers are looking forward to another Newsletter. However, I am at a loss to understand that it is necessary to up-date your mailing system to say a Hi! at us. Surely you can post in your 'Blog' section.

Best wishes....Ron.
