I know there is another month, but I'm going into hospital for an op next week, and would like to get this off first.
Only 1 left, number 8:
Bird produces source of light and its heart (6).
I think it ends in L - I have 50 that start that way.
I know there is a bird Bulbul - but it doesn't really fit the clue. Presumably the answer is a bird?
Clues please not an answer (maybe on Friday!).

It does fit the clue. What is the heart of the light (bulb)? the letters UL so that added to your bulb (light) gives your answer.

Ah! I was thinking T for the heart of its, or G for the heart of light. Thanks - but I thinkgI feel even more stupid for not getting it!

Don't feel stupid Goofy - I think we've all had occasions when we've missed the obvious. My worst moment was when I asked for help for the next in sequence. it was something like C V B N??. I typed the letters very carefully so I didn't make a mistake and didn't realise I was typing letters on the bottom row of the keyboard. I really did feel stupid when someone gave me the answer.
