The time for talking is over say
Basildon Council, regarding Dale Farm, and after listening to one woman bleat on about police brutality, their rights, and that fires will be set outside Parliament, are they finally going, at least from the illegal part of the site, i wonder.

Vulcan there has been quite a lot of chatter about dale farm one way or the other, and wasn't being critical. LL had mentioned about the sites that are purpose built, and either not in use or used and abused. Personally i think the people have got away with murder, and that this not only has cost a small fortune, but dragged on for so long, that one wonders how it will all end.
Rich47, probably build on it, but that in truth is not the point, we are told that any building work on your property, land has to be put through endless planning permission via the local authority, same goes for anyone, but if you break the law in this way, it should be a clear case of prosecution and clear off the land.
This whole débâcle is simply farcical and should have been sorted out years and years ago. It's a simple planning law violation deliberately strung out by the travellers and their sympathisers, using every legal mechanism available to them.
It's interesting that a group of people whose criminal ethos is well known and well documented, are happy to use the law to falsely protect them when it suits but even more happy to ignore the law when it comes to them 'acquiring' money to pay for their chosen lifestyle.
It's quite simple. They bought some land and built permanent habitable structures upon it without planning permission. Anyone else attempting the same would have had said structure demolished.
We cannot allow any individual or group to claim special privilege when it comes to the application of the law. We must all be held accountable for any illegal actions regardless of status or ethnicity.
