lip peircing

I really want my lip peirced like the guy in blink 182, but im scared its gonna hurt. Has anyone got one and did it hurt.

hi, having your lip peiced is pretty mild they put some numbing stuff on it for you so you have as little discomfort as possible i mean it does kind of hurt but then its over so quickly u dont really notice, but if your having second thoughts now about it dont have it done i mean i have mine done and only sometimes i put it in. its very good for when your bored and u can make water come out the hole when its healed its very amusing as im 16 i find it very good to have :D

hey severen, ive got my madonna done, and yeah, it hurts, but only for a second and heals so quick. go for it!

I actually had mine done fairly recently. I won't lie... it hurts a lot. And it's a b***h to take care of. Lots of cleaning/disinfecting. When they first peirced it, it didn't hurt at all, however, now it's a bit uncomfortably. I hear by 2 weeks, it's normal, and you can put a smaller ring in it (the one they peirce with is really wide, to allow for swelling.) I like mine, but I'm pretty tolerant of pain in regards to tattoos/peircings (I've got a few others).
