ex and confused feelings

me and my ex ended things in june not because we didnt like each other any more but because we were both going away for a while and all our friends expected we would get back together at a later point. although we havnt, there has been a drunken kiss or two. we have the same friends so i see him often and ive seem him with many other girls and a couple of weeks ago he told me that we both needed to move on and i needed to get over him. obviously i was really embarassed and upset by this, and also confused as i had shown no signs of not being over him. recently i have been hearing from his friends that after a few too many drinks he admitted that he still really liked me. i had literally just got to a point where i was over him, but hearing this from his closest friends has completely thrown me again and i feel so confused. i cant bring it up with him as his friends werent meant to have told me and i dont know what to do because i know i will be seeing him this weekend and he will be with other girls etc and i had reached a point where that wasnt bothering me but now i know it will and i have no idea how to deal with this extremely confusing situation!

Helly he is obviously still going to like you. It is difficult to hear this if you are habouring feelings of wanting to get back together. Wait for him to make the first move towards getting back together, and he will if that is what he wants. If you approach him and he says he didnt mean it, he was drunk etc you will feel rejected. If he makes the approach what happens next is up to you. Keep the ball in your court.
